The formula explained

The formulas convert one land area unit into another using fixed conversion factors. For example, \(1\,\text{ha} = 10{,}000\,\text{m}^2\), \(1\,\text{acre} = 43{,}560\,\text{ft}^2\), and \(1\,\text{m}^2 \approx 10.7639\,\text{ft}^2\).

Worked example
